Float Plane Trip Over the Olympic Mountains
During the Winter of 1977 I got an opportunity to take a flight over the Olympic Mountains with a pilot/friend. We flew in a Super Cub on floats. I can remember swimming in L Cushman during the summer time, looking at Mt. Washington and wondering what lies behind it. On this trip, I found out. The scenery was spectacular. And the mountains were blanketed in snow.
